ABOUT
Community owned since 2020, when over twenty thousand volunteer hours went into a massive refurbishment, The Gun at Ridsdale is a traditional country inn set in the heart of the beautiful Northumberland countryside. We have four completely new en suite rooms, a bar stocked to the gunnels with local ales and fine wines and we serve great home cooked food. When you're here - for however long - we want you to feel part of our little community.
OUR ROOMS
Each of our four en-suite rooms has been newly renovated and decorated. Cosy and comfortable with TVs and power showers.

The Gun at Ridsdale is owned by the RCG - a community benefit society. The society has hundreds of shareholders from all over the world; and is run for the benefit of our small rural community.

When staying at The Gun you're just a 20 minute drive to Hadrian's Wall. As well as stunning historic properties like Wallington, Belsay and Cragside.
